Develop or support activities that provide immunizations and antibiotics for children
Promote good nutrition and encourage the breastfeeding of infants when possible
Include water, sanitation, and hygiene efforts in order to maximize child nutrition, because diarrheal diseases caused by contaminated water exacerbate malnutrition in children
Prevent mother-to-infant HIV transmission by encouraging the use of antiretroviral drugs and formula feeding when necessary
Provide information about and access to contraceptives, because filling the need for them could reduce the number of maternal deaths by nearly one-third
Provide birthing kits to health professionals
Support accredited training programs for health professionals

President Anika asked everyone to find at least 2 speakers and assigned us each a month to fill. Please be looking and asking in ADVANCE of your month or feel free to schedule someone sooner than your time. Always check the "Speaker" calendar on the website for open dates. I'll be adding the dates to the end of next year(it's a manual process). Or reach to Karen.
